Welcome

Thank you for your interest in Trinetra's Stewardship Marketplace as a product partner. You provide the physical goods that help residents harden their properties against wildfire and other natural hazards. Trinetra connects your products directly to residents who need them — based on real inspection data, not guesswork.

How the Marketplace Works

The Stewardship Marketplace

Trinetra's marketplace is a contextual recommendation engine, not a traditional storefront. Here's how it works:

  1. Resident completes a Zone 0 Inspection — AI identifies specific hazards on their property
  2. Hazard-to-Product Mapping — Trinetra maps each hazard to EMBER-compliant products from your catalog
  3. Contextual Recommendation — The resident sees product suggestions directly tied to their inspection findings
  4. Purchase & Commission — When a resident buys a recommended product, 10% commission routes to the community Abundance Reserve

Integration Methods

Coming Q2 2026 — Integration endpoints are under development and will be available to onboarded partners after the pilot. The methods below reflect the planned integration surface.

Option 1: Affiliate Webhook

Trinetra receives purchase notifications via webhook from your affiliate platform:

  • Endpoint: POST /api/v1/marketplace/webhook
  • Payload: Product ID, purchase amount, user reference
  • Response: Commission confirmation and Prana reward notification

Option 2: Stripe Integration

For direct purchases processed through Stripe:

  • Endpoint: POST /api/v1/marketplace/stripe-webhook
  • Events: checkout.session.completed, payment_intent.succeeded
  • Automatic: Commission routing and reward distribution

Option 3: Manual Catalog Sync

For partners who maintain their own product database:

  • Endpoint: POST /api/v1/marketplace_v2/sync
  • Purpose: Sync your current catalog (prices, availability, new products) with Trinetra
  • Frequency: Recommended daily or on inventory changes

What Residents See

When a resident completes a Zone 0 inspection and receives recommendations:

  1. Product Card — Your product image, name, price, and EMBER compliance badge
  2. Hazard Context — "Recommended because: Wood mulch detected within 5ft of structure"
  3. Action Button — "View Product" routes to your affiliate link
  4. Prana Incentive — Resident earns Prana for purchasing and completing the hardening action

Offline Support

  • Product recommendations are cached on-device for offline viewing
  • Purchases made while offline are queued and synced when connectivity returns
  • This ensures residents in fire-prone areas with spotty service can still access recommendations

Best Practices

  1. EMBER Compliance — Ensure all listed products genuinely meet Berkeley EMBER standards. Trinetra's AI may flag non-compliant products.
  2. Accurate Pricing — Keep prices current. Residents trust the recommendations because they're contextual and honest.
  3. Quality Images — Clear product photos increase conversion rates significantly.
  4. Local Availability — Products available for Berkeley/Bay Area delivery perform best.
  5. Seasonal Relevance — Fire season (June-November) drives peak demand for hardening materials.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How are my products selected for recommendations? A: Trinetra's recommendation engine maps specific inspection findings to product categories. If a resident's property has wood mulch in Zone 0, products in the RIVER_ROCK category are recommended. Your product competes within its category based on price, rating, and availability.

Q: Can I see which residents bought my products? A: No. Resident identity is protected. You receive aggregate metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions) without personally identifiable information.

Q: What if my product is out of stock? A: Use the catalog sync endpoint to update availability. Out-of-stock products are temporarily hidden from recommendations.

Q: Do I need to be local to Berkeley? A: No, but products with Bay Area delivery options perform better. National shipping is supported.

Q: How do I update my product catalog? A: Contact admin@trinetra.app or use the catalog sync API endpoint to push updates.
